As the Maintenance Technician, you will be involved in maintaining & troubleshooting our RVM's, conveyors & Kiosks across our Return It business while ensuring to minimise downtime as much as possible. Our Head Office is located at Oakleigh.
About The Role
- Regular site visits while conducting regular inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on a wide range of machinery and devices, including RVM's, conveyors and Kiosks
- Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out
- React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected teams and work efficiently to fix the issue while minimising downtime
- Replace worn-out or defective parts and components as part of routine maintenance activities
- Lubricate moving parts, calibrate systems, and perform necessary adjustments to prevent breakdowns
- Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements to our Operations team
- Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers Support and learn from our Engineering & operations team
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment
- Proven experience as an Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment that will bring new and innovative ideas
- Technical certifications or TAFE training in equipment maintenance would be highly desirabl
