The role
We’re seeking:
- Experienced Maintenance Technicians
- Trades: Carpenters, Plumbers/Roofers
to join our Maintenance Division. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out emergency and scheduled maintenance to primarily cold rooms and freezer rooms all around Brisbane and SE Qld.
Key responsibilities
- Use hand tools and power tools to safely assemble, install, modify, repair or replace parts of cold rooms, freezers and other facilities.
- Read and interpret work orders, drawings and specifications to understand and perform maintenance work as assigned.
- Maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction, general labouring or maintenance roles.
Will be an advantage
- Trade certificate in any relevant industry (construction, engineering etc).
- Practical knowledge of steel pallet racking installation, repairs and inspection.
- Practical knowledge of cold room maintenance processes and equipment.
- High-risk licenses including Forklift, Scissor Lift, Work at Heights, Elevated Work Platform etc.
