Could you be the full-time Maintenance Technician - Mechanical in Rouse Hill we're looking for?
Your future role
Take on this new challenge and apply your maintenance expertise joining our Services business in Rouse Hill. You'll report to the maintenance supervisor and work alongside team-oriented and passionate teammates with a safety mindset. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (quality team, safety team), taking care of the preventative maintenance of the depot, focusing on quality and much more. Specifically, you could engage in train driving and shunting around the depot during testing with prior training provided. Join our team at an exciting time of growth as we expand and will maintain an additional 16 trains within the Sydney Metro Project.
We'll look to you for the following activities:
- Comply with ALSTOM safety rules, fully aware of and understand the ALSTOM Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP) and implement it to daily activities
- Implement retrofit and rectifications as planned to trains when required
- Assist with development and definition of retrofit/repair requirements and plans, engage in fault finding
- Support the integration of data from configuration management sources
- Conduct preventive maintenance, product reviews, tests and validation of retrofit/repair installations
- Write daily reports with team for all the activities performed in the shift and report to reporting managers timely and accurately
- Be able to work flexible shifts, Day shift & Night shift & Weekend when required
All about you

- Certificate III in Engineering or a suitable Mechanical trade
- Read and understand system schemes: mechanical assembly, electrical & electronics, pneumatic, etc.
- Basic Office software and have fast learning skills
- Strong communication skills and experience for communicating with internal stakeholders and customer and partners
- Retrofit, trains testing and commissioning experience and experience on UTO trains as advantage
