The Role:
We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Technicians & Team Leader to join our Turboprops team based at Ipswich or Adelaide to work on our PT6A, TPE331 and H80 engines. Your duties will include:
Perform heavy engine maintenance on gas turbine engines in a MRO shop
Work in accordance with OEM documentation and airworthiness requirements
Utilise ERP and maintenance worksheets to accurately record job progress
Identify and act on opportunities for improvement
Maintain a clean & tidy work area free of FOD
Take all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of others
Actively participate as a team member to achieve team goals and deliver to the customer
Some Travel will be required from time to time.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A passion and drive to deliver to keep their customers flying
PT6A, TPE331 or H80 experience
Comprehensive engine overhaul knowledge and experience
Demonstrable knowledge of engine strip, detailed inspection and assembly
Experience in carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance work in accordance with OEM documentation
Experience working within airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements
Experience working with both manual and automated tools and equipment
High level of accuracy and the ability to read and interpret technical manuals
Machining and general engineering knowledge an advantage
