Alstom is looking for multiple Maintenance Technicians - Electrical to join our team based in Rouse Hill.
The primary responsibility in this position is to maintain and carry out preventative maintenance programs and repair the Rail equipment.

Description
- Conduct Electrical control systems component calibrations, fault diagnosis, maintenance and retrofit repair on rail equipment.
- Interrogation and diagnostic testing on equipment installed on the Sydney Metro System.
- Actively maintain and repair tram /train equipment including safety procedures (preventive and corrective maintenance).
- Completing works in a fixed workshop and field service environment.
- Soldering, labelling, wiring and installation of new Electro - Mechanical equipment.
Profile
- Cert III in Engineering - Electrical (Mandatory)
- Maintenance Experience ( Preventative & Corrective)
- Australian Citizenship or working visa.
- Proven experience as an electrician conducting fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, reading schematics, and connecting switchboards.
- Strong understanding of PLC and SCADA systems would be advantageous.
- Excellent Communication skills.
Job Offer
- The role starts with a 6-month assignment with a view to extension and/or becoming permanent directly with Alstom.
- Rotating shifts: Morning (6am - 2pm), Afternoon (2pm - 10pm) & Night (10pm - 6am).
