The Role

We are looking for Security / Maintenance Technicians in Broome WA. to join our growing team and the opportunity to build a career.

You will work with a team of skilled Security technicians across a broad spectrum of sites. The team work on developing, installing and servicing solutions for electronic security by integrating access control, intruder detection, CCTV systems. You will use a variety of commercial security systems including Gallagher, Inner Range, Tecom as well as a range of CCTV systems.   \

Salary offered for this position: $70,000 (plus Superannuation) negotiable and dependent on skills and experience. 

Duties:

• Installation, servicing and commissioning of alarm systems, CCTV systems, access control and intercom systems.
• Installation & repair of Access Control Systems
• Installation & repair of CCTV systems
• Fault finding

 Experience & Skills:

• At least 2 years of employment in the related occupation
• Understanding of basic electrical / electronics – certification would be an advantage however not essential
• Experience working in a Technical Trade such as an Electrician, AV Communications, Fire System installation etc would be highly regarded
• Excellent communication, organisation and customer service skills (polite and presentable)
• Experience with Security, Access Control and CCTV systems 
• Good computer skills and attention to detail 

Qualifications:

• An Australian cablers licence would be highly regarded
• Australian or equivalent Qualifications such as Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Certificate level in Telecommunications, Communications or Security would be highly regarded
• NV1 security clearance would be advantageous
• A Current Australian driver’s licence is essential
• AQD Certificate III or IV
