Maintenance/Facilitates person

A fantastic fulltime position has become available for an experienced and versatile Maintenance/Facilitatesperson to assist with day to day tasks at Hotel Steyne, Manly

The successful applicant will be reporting to the Licensee and will be responsible for all maintenance requirements of all areas, both internally and externally, including, but not limited to:

• Completing daily inspections
• Basic carpentry repairs, patching walls, gyprocking, painting and tiling repairs etc.
• Minor plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Assisting external contractors
• Assembling and installing furniture
• Manual labour as required
• Other general repairs as required

To be successful in this role, you will need:-

• Experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities
• Ability to work autonomously
• Ability to supervise external contractors
• Knowledge and understanding of WHS, environment obligations and PPE
• A current Australian drivers’ license

This is a Monday – Friday role (some out of hours work may be required)
