About the Role
As our newly created Major Bids Coordinator, you will lead the coordination of development of major research initiatives, craft compelling funding strategies, and foster partnerships to secure essential investments. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing collaborative networks, supporting the cultivation of market opportunities, and building capability within our dynamic team.In this exciting position, you'll bring creativity and innovation to develop a dedicated approach for Major Bids. You'll provide strategic guidance, facilitate specialised expertise to work together on significant funding opportunities, and support proactive initiatives.   • Working proactively and collaboratively with dedicated project teams, support, and contribute to development of high-quality business cases and proposals to secure funding
  • Development of pro-active integrated funding strategies for early concept projects
  • Coordination of Major Opportunities meetings and supporting reporting responsibilities
  • Support development of Major Bids tools, resources and processes that enable collaborative, effective and functional bid teams
Who we are looking for
You will demonstrate a high level of organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and deadlines effectively, alongside experience in supporting and leading working groups or project teams.You will also have:
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications and/or industry/business development or project management experience;or an equivalent combination of experience and education/training.
  • Ability to conceptualise and describe multidisciplinary opportunities to stakeholders and identify compelling value propositions.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-organizational project teams and managing diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing funding strategies and submissions, and contributing to successful large-scale funding outcomes.
  • Experience in coordinating and facilitating project scoping and planning workshops.

This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
