The role:

With a growing retail management portfolio, Knight Frank Australia are excited to be recruiting 2 dedicated Mall Commercialisation Managers to assist with the implementation of our comprehensive Casual Mall Leasing (CML) strategy for a major shopping centre landlord.

With a significant growth plan in mind, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring maximum CML revenue from the managed portfolio is achieved while maintaining a healthy pipeline across multiple sites.

Your ability to manage and leverage key relationships will be vital to your success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver the CML strategy for the portfolio, working alongside our National Mall Commercialisation Manager & the client.
  • Work closely with the Centre Management, Marketing and Leasing teams to identify and maximise casual leasing and revenue opportunities.
  • Coordinate and prepare business plans outlining the potential revenue for each site.
  • Conduct market research by visiting competitor centres, local markets, venues to identify new CML operators.
  • Generation and management of the centres contracts including vending machine and media contracts.

Who are we looking for?

  • Relevant experience in retail leasing, CML, digital marketing and/or retail marketing preferred.
  • An understanding of the commercial property industry, including shopping centres.
  • Strong deal generation and persuasive negotiation skills.
  • High degree of adaptability.
  • Creative thinking and conceptual skills.
  • Outstanding ability to build, maintain and sustain relationships.
  • Demonstrated client focus.
