The role:
- Perform routine screening and assessment mammography procedures, accommodating individual client needs and limitations in the performance of the examination.
- Use breast imaging equipment ensuring client welfare and standard of care in accordance with business requirements and protocols.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of new techniques and advances in mammography and breast screening.
- Assist in the development, updating and implementation of protocols and procedures for work practices supporting continuous quality improvement and routine equipment quality control.
- Consistent with professional development, assist in training and supervision of less experienced staff.

Details of Appointment
Permanent, part time, day worker position working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Location: Hobart, Tasmania
Salary: $71,441 to $107,878 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
- Tertiary qualification/program of study providing eligibility for the Australian Society of Medical imaging and Radiation Therapy’s Certificate of Clinical Proficiency in Mammography
- Holds a certificate of Clinical Proficiency in Mammography
- Licensed to practice under Tasmanian Radiation Protection Act 2005 and the Radiation Protection Regulations 2016
