A typical week for a 'Managed Services - Junior Support Analyst' include the following tasks:

• Supporting client IT infrastructure across various industries.
• Installation, Configuration and Patching of Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and IBM AIX.
• Installation, Configuration of Hardware, including Servers, Storage and Network equipment.
• Management of Backup and Recovery software, including Commvault, Veeam and Spectrum Protect.
• Management of Clustered File Systems
• Troubleshooting of OS and Software problems across Windows, Linux, and AIX platforms.
• Triage incoming incidents and alerts
• Liaising with Vendor Support to resolve hardware and software issues.
• Creating and maintaining documentation

As a Junior Support Analyst, you will be partnered up initially with a senior resource to help develop your skills and knowledge to meet the requirements of the role. The position is based in Melbourne Central Business District and requires the successful applicant to work from our office.

The role is best suited to someone who has spent hands-on time working with hardware, and operating systems. In addition, we are looking for someone who is at the tail end or has recently completed their degree in Information Technology or Information Systems. You will need to be a permanent resident or an Australian citizen to apply for this role. A valid driver’s license is also required as there will be occasions where you will need to visit our customer Data Centres.
