Silverstone is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Planner to cater to our clients' requirements in the thriving WA mining and resources sector. This opportunity will commence on a casual basis with the opportunity to progress into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager of NPI & Projects and working with the NPI and Project Superintendents, you will be responsible for:
- Create and improve the preventative maintenance system, including setting maintenance schedules and inspection checklists.
- Ensure all critical spares are documented and accounted for.
- Develop and distribute project schedules and performance reports
- Plan and prioritize activities to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Conduct QA/QC to ensure work meets standards and enhances equipment reliability.
- Track NPI operations and maintenance performance using KPIs
- Identify and address risks that could impact NPI performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance value in the NPI department.
- Assist in budget preparation, capital justification, and systematic data collection for forecasting.
Requirements
- Previous experience within an NPI and/or project planner role
- SAP Experience
- Understanding of Earned Value measurement highly advantageous
- Proficient in using project planning system and scheduling such as MS Project within construction, resources or infrastructure development sectors
- Strong understanding in project management principles, tools and techniques
