ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsible for providing first-level technical support and assistance to end-users across Moose’s system ecosystem. They will be primarily focused on responding to service desk tickets related to the various systems, troubleshooting issues and ensuring timely resolution to maintain smooth and efficient system operations working closely with the existing Global ERP Director and System Information Administrator. This role will directly report to Information Technology VP.
Main responsibilities
- Response to and resolve service desk tickets related to systems promptly and efficiently
- Provide clear and concise communication to end-users regarding issue resolution and follow-up actions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Asset end-users to understand and utilise system features and functionalities.
- Provide remote assistance globally and in-person support within Melbourne office.
- Support in maintaining detailed and accurate system documentation and contribute to the building and updating the knowledge base as required.
- Monitor system performance and identify issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement proactive measures to enhance system reliability.
- Support in ensuring system use is utilised in compliance to IT and security policies.
- Assist in delivering basic training sessions for end-users on system usage.
- Participate in team meetings and share insights to enhance IT ecosystem at Moose.
- Stay abreast of system updates, technology trends and advancements.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with Oracle, SAP ecosystem would be a plus.
- Experience in Freshdesk or other IT service management tools would be a plus.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity and familiarity towards ERP systems and other systems that is relevant to a supply chain organisation.
- Strong problem solving to diagnose issues efficiently.
- Clear and concise communication with customer-focused mindset.
- Flexible and ability to adapt as required to changing technologies and priorities.
