About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this recently create role, will be responsible for the financial reporting and analysis of the business, including financial systems. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for recommending financial and administrative system improvements to drive business performance and a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Month end preparation
- Reporting, forecasting, analysis and budget development and implementation
- IT Systems Management
- Reconciliation, preparation, and lodgement of monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance reports - business activity statements (AIS/FBT/BAS), Payroll Tax and Superannuation
- Payroll, Accounts and Administration Support
- Completed or currently studying for a Degree in Commerce, Business or Accounting, with a minimum two years’ experience in a similar management accounting role
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and accounts and summarise into succinct financial reports.
- Proven ability to prepare and communicate information clearly and professionally, both verbally and in written form) and to prepare statistical and written reports
- High level computer skills in the use of MS Office Suite of programs including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience in the provision of quality administrative support services to managers and staff
- Current Victorian drivers’ licence is essential
