This is a full-time position working from our Derrimut Vic location, servicing the Outer West & Geelong regions. We seek a dedicated individual with a strong customer-centric approach.
Join our team as an Account Manager focused on servicing educational institutions, educators, and Business Managers.
In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing relationships and driving sales within the education sector. Your primary objective will be to understand the unique needs of schools and educational professionals, offering tailored solutions to enhance learning environments and operational efficiency. Facilitating seamless communication between customers and internal teams. Staying informed about market trends and competitor activities, providing valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with publishing and the education market, including teachers with a genuine desire to get into sales are also encouraged to apply.
What skills do I need to succeed in the role?
- Sales and service-oriented mindset with confidence in showing eLearning products
- As a prerequisite, excellent communication skills are required as you will be speaking with educators who need to be approached carefully, therefore aggressive sales tactics will not work well
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong time management and organisational skills with ability to plan ahead
- Attention to detail in verbal and written communication with both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience or knowledge of school environments
- IT literacy with software proficiency
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and possession of a valid Victoria driver's license
Qualifications and Responsibilities
- Demonstrated account management or equivalent experience
- Track record of delivering solutions and providing exceptional customer service
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects with keen attention to detail
- Strong abilities in listening, negotiations and presentations with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adherence to financial protocols and promote safety in the workplace
- Ability in developing strong working relationships with both internal colleagues and clients
- Shows eagerness to learn, adaptability, and commitment to ongoing improvement
- Possesses advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in using digital technologies in relation to educational learning and support
- You must be eligible for a ‘Working With Children' check
