Lawson Elliott is proud to be actively engaged in facilitating our client's quest to enlist a proficient Management Accountant who will contribute significantly to their team dynamics. As you step into this role, you will find yourself immersed in a dynamic environment where your expertise will be instrumental in fostering the smooth functioning of the hotel operations.
Working in tandem with the Director of Finance, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the hotel. Your role will encompass a diverse array of duties ranging from financial reporting and analysis to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable (including expense tracking and PO processes)
- Accounts Receivable
- General Cashiering
- General Ledger
- Month End Reporting & Reconciliations
- Payroll Support
- Ad hoc Administration duties
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual Reporting
- Hands work to support the team in a business partnership role.
- Drive analysis and reporting, while also being able to communicate financial results with the team.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business/Accounting/Commerce
- Related Hotel industry experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a multi-faceted Accounting support role
- Independent, highly motivated team member
- Methodical, systematic approach with a focus on attention to detail and quality
- Highly developed Microsoft Excel skills
