Our client is a well-established and entrepreneurial construction services business operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing a range of services to the civil, construction, maintenance, and government sectors.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial functions of the team (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll) to ensure timely and accurate management reports can be produced from which educated business decisions will be made regarding future growth and expansion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring processes are satisfactory to ensure all income and expenditure is being captured
- Review and reconcile accounts
- System improvements conducive to mitigating risk and/or increasing data accuracy
- Performing key month end accounting tasks
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset Registers/Accruals/Prepayment Schedules within the group
- Assisting in the preparation of the group’s internal reporting processes
- Analysis of management and financial reports
- Liaising with end-users to enable sound commercial decisions and outcomes
- Assistance in the preparation of statutory compliance tasks
- Driving process improvements and streamlining finance tasks
- Bachelor of Business / Accounting is favourable
- Management Accounting experience
