This is a leading global financial institution who delivers a broad range of financial services to a diverse portfolio of clients. They are looking to expand their current operations in Sydney. Due to their expansion, they are looking for an ambitious Management Accountant to join their high-performing team. Reporting to a Finance Manager, you will have a broad scope of responsibilities including:
- Preparation of monthly management reports tracking financial performance against budget
- Providing commentary on management reports
- Preparation of cashflow forecasts
- Play a lead role in compiling the annual budget with senior management
- Analysing trends and financial performance across business units
- Month-end accounting including reconciliations and journals
- Monthly flash forecasting
To be considered for this role you will be CA/CPA qualified or studying towards with at least 3+ years' experience working in chartered (Big 4 or mid-tier) or a complex commercial organisation. You will be an all-rounder accountant, who is hands-on, down to earth, a team player and have excellent communication skill
