Your new company
Our manufacturing client is partnering with Hays to recruit an experienced Management Accountant for an initial 6 months contract. There is a strong chance of extension.
This position is ideally looking to start ASAP.
Your new role
- Timely and accurate end of month Management Reporting.
- Budget preparation and forecasts.
- Review and reconcile all GL accounts ensuring accurate allocations.
- Preparing statements for financial stakeholders.
- Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the organisation.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Liaising with Operation Managers and reviewing costs.
- Operating cost review and analysis.
- Fixed asset register maintenance.
- Preparation of BAS reports, journals and sales reports.
- Ad hoc project work.
- Ensure financial reports are maintained within compliance and statutory requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
- CA/CPA or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Ideally have previously worked within the manufacturing or FMCG sector.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with various internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to problem-solve and improve processes.
- Full commitment to the initial 6 months contract.
- Very strong Excel skills.
- The ability to multitask, work to deadlines and add value via your operational analysis.
- Ability to commence this position within the next 2 weeks.
What you'll get in return
- An attractive pay ranging between $95,000 upto $110,000 + super per annum (then pro-rata), dependent on relevant experience.
