The Management Accountant will be a key part of a small finance team, responsible for month-end reporting, financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts for assigned companies within the group. This role is crucial in assisting the Group Financial Controller in month-end and year-end accounts closing, financial reporting, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management reporting and analysis, including month-end reporting and P&L commentary to meet corporate deadlines
• Recording month-end journals, GL reconciliations, and other reconciliations
• Managing and maintaining the fixed asset registers
• Assisting the GFC in budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
• Further development, analysis, maintenance, and distribution of monthly performance reports and reporting dashboards
• Identifying performance improvement strategies and investigating process improvements to add value organisation-wide
• Assisting and supporting the General Manager & GFC in financial matters
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the GFC

Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & MS Office
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting & Finance
• 2-3 years prior experience in management accounting and reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish strong relationships and work as a team player
• Experience in handling multiple stakeholders
• Organised and structured approach to daily duties
