Australian National Discover Pty Ltd, trading as ‘Fantasy Caravan’, is a manufacturer, specialising in manufacturing of caravans. We also have four retail stores in Australia, specialising in retailing and wholesaling of a large range of caravans such as off-road hybrid campers and road caravans at the best values to meet different customers’ different needs. Our products are built tough, making them reliable and easy to use, aiming to make the caravanning experience accessible, safe and memorable for the customers. Because of business’s continuous development, we are now eagerly seeking a permanent full-time Management Accountant to join our team to develop with us in a sustained manner.
Annual Salary: $81,930 plus Superannuation Contributions
Duties and Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
- Conduct asset valuation, revenue and expenses projection, and analyze financial performance based on the company's operations and performance
- Provide guidance on financial planning (including managing costs, cash flows, and more), advise on risk management strategies, based on the company's operations and performance
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial plan, budgeting, projections on a regular basis; evaluate and deliver insightful and actionable management reports promptly
- Liaise with external parties (including banks, tax authorities (such as ATO & ASIC), and more on accounting and financial matters
- Manage and maintain the internal control system of the company
- Provide guidance and recommendations on selecting accounting software and systems, ensuring effective and efficient use and operation; manage and maintain the accounting software and systems
- Assist with the development of budgeting and the establishment of accounting policies and guidelines
- Assist with strategic planning and development of the company
- Analyse weekly and monthly results against financial plan, forecasts, and other relevant metrics
- Prepare and provide actionable management reporting in a timely manner and in line with business requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
Qualification
At least Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, or relevant field.
Experience
At least two years of highly relevant working experience.
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience and strong background in accounting, business, commerce, finance, or relevant field
- Extensive knowledge and strong understanding in regard to the accounting policies, regulations, standards, and more
- Excellent communications skills including both verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with accounting software and systems
- Highly organized
- Ability to pay close attention to details
- Excellent time management and decision-making skills
- Relevant industry experience is preferred
