Management Accountant

A family office that invests in mid-market businesses and property developments is looking for a Management Accountant / FP&A (Group) to support financial controllers across their diverse business units.
This rare, exciting, and pivotal opportunity has opened for a Management Accountant / FP&A to join the team on a permanent basis and will provide critical analysis, modelling, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Salary:                 $120,000 - $140,000 + Super (depending on experience)
Location:              Penrith
 
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support strategic decision making
• Collaborate with financial controllers to prepare reports
• Conduct variance analysis profitability analysis and other ad hoc reports
• Ability to implement and manage standard costing processes
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process
• Assist in working capital analysis and management
• Support the due diligence process for potential acquisitions
• Develop and maintain financial and operational dashboards and KPIs
• Work closely with Group CEO and management teams to implements best practices
• Participate in strategic projects, providing financial expertise and insights

 
Qualification and Skills:

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management accounting or FP&A role
• Proven track record in financial modelling and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Experience in due diligence and financial evaluation of acquisitions preferred
