Group Management Accountant

My client is a leading manufacturing business, in a period of change and growth, seeking a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis!This is a great opportunity to work within an industry leading, family owned but supportive company, working within the wider Finance Department of six people, reporting into a highly experienced Financial Controller.There's plenty of opportunity to roll up your sleeves to work on continuous improvement projects, help to establish procedures and drive efficiencies and grow with the business.This business is based close to public transport in Sydney's Inner West and offers hybrid working model, and oen day a week from home after the first two months of training.About the role

• Financial reporting and month end process
• Preparing management reports and variance analysis
• Identify and implement potential improvements to supply chain process
• Analyse and monthly reporting on labour, productivity, margins
• Updating and maintaining manufacturing and import pricing tables
• Business partnering with department leads to obtain key financial insight and data.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting process
• Balance Sheet reconciliations at month end
• Project accounting and testing inventrory controls

About you

• CA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent essention
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or similar industry
• Excellent business partering skills and ability to engage with different level of stakeholders
• Large ERP systems and BI tools expeience essential
• Financial modelling experience
• Excellent problem solver and analytcial thinker
• Working as part of a team, people focused and sees value in strong intenral relationships
