SummitCare are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accommodation Manager to provide support, leadership, program development and supervision of our Manager ofAccommodation services and admin, located in Waverley
Role Responsibilities
Catering management
Laundry management
Property management
Work, Health and Safety champion.
Recruitment of staff
Shift management
Reporting responsibilities
Strong Finance experience in aged care
Ensuring legislative compliance
Managing the admin team
Excellent customer service and sales background
Occupancy management, meet with family, schedule tours and discuss admission requirements
Room presentation, managing housekeeping and maintenance of the home
Requirements
Minimum 5 years proven leadership, in health, particularly client/case management, quality management, incident management and resolution
Working in an Aged care environment
Knowledge of the changing environment in the health sector, including funding, supplier market and emerging trends in service delivery.
Exemplary customer service skills. Demonstrated experience in holistic customer care needs, team development, delegation and mentoring skills
An understanding of, and commitment to, continuous quality improvement and organisational change
Ability to meet deadlines; handling volumes of competing priorities and confidential matters whilst displaying discipline, discretion and integrity.
Highly developed organisational skills, ability to maintain attention to detail whilst multi-tasking.
A high level of computer literacy with extensive experience in Microsoft Office and electronic data management systems
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and prepare reports using clear, concise language that is appropriate for the intended audience
Commercial acumen to develop strategies that create business growth.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in dealing with sensitive information and adverse events
Participate in networking and regularly undertake continuous professional development
Demonstrate an understanding workplace health and safety
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment
