A day in the life:
Attract, Engage, Capture - the lululemon Community Manager is responsible for leading the team that pioneers brand advocacy in new markets and strengthens brand resonance in existing markets by driving brand awareness and building relationships. Reporting to the Brand Marketing + Community Director, the Area Community Manager is a people and industry leader whom defines, creates and executes an integrated national community strategy through an innovative mix of traditional marketing and grassroots community building. This leader is accountable for understanding how lululemon creates authentic and scalable connection points and amplifies key brand moments across both Australia and New Zealand.
  • Responsible for pioneering future community growth-building concepts and overarching strategies in collaboration with business stakeholders. Key objective in driving new/existing market growth and expansions.
  • A day-to-day partner to key brand marketing + business stakeholders ensuring an aligned 18-month Brand and Community calendar is reflective of what is happening in each market and is specifically crafted to support the business objectives.
  • Oversee the community programs: Ambassadors, Sports marketing/Partnerships + Here to Be Program, Retail, Sports marketing/Partnerships and Events. By managing the direct reports to deliver on their respective strategies and KPI's and ensuring all plans are focused on guest acquisition, guest retention, and traffic driving overall business growth.
  • You will accelerate the growth of our Men's business and continue to drive our core activities in Yoga, Run and Train through athlete outreach programs and product seeding health and wellness communities/influencers in the market
  • Lead and develop the community team to create community pipeline.
  • Track and measure the impact of all community initiatives and programs (including storytelling, partnerships, guest sentiment, awareness/buzz, traffic) to articulate the results (ROI) of our local community work.
  • Day-to-day budget management/tracking
  • Be a hell yes for AUS/NZ and delivering on the purpose of lululemon in this part of the world.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business-related field and 5+ years' experience in the marketing field
  • You make connections with your community easily and effortlessly and thrive on building relationships
  • Successful experience in a management position with proven ability to provide direction to other managers
  • Proven ability to negotiate, influence and collaborate with other key decision makers in a complex matrix environment
  • Strategic thinker who has delivered results through execution
  • Consumer experience with a youthful, cutting edge, influential brand
  • Proven experience developing and driving digital initiatives from inception to execution
  • Excellent managerial skills, with a reputation for being flexible, energetic, hardworking, inspirational, enthusiastic
  • Eligible to live & work in AUS/NZ
  • Able to work in a fast paced and lively environment
