About the Role:
As the Manager Asset Management & Maintenance you will be responsible for improving rigour and governance for the AGL Asset Management Framework, whilst identifying and delivering continuous improvement opportunities. This role will be able to effectively streamline processes, systems and technologies to achieve the company objectives of safely and sustainably achieving required levels of asset reliability and commercial availability across a diverse asset fleet at an optimal cost. The role should be heavily focused on stakeholder engagement and collaboration with a support focus.
What you'll be doing:
- Create a culture of Asset Strategy, Planning, Delivery and data/Documentation discipline
- Drive improvement in practical Asset Management standards through your technical capability and stakeholder engagement skills
- Own and define the business processes and requirements for AGL's Operations' asset strategy, planning tools and SAP CMMS systems
- Lead a team of 6 subject matter experts
- Collaborate and consult with site based operational teams, rather than policing or directing, to enable a centralised governance framework
- Apply concepts of ISO 55000 pragmatically
About You:
You will have a background in Asset Management and planning in order to demonstrate credibility with operations stakeholders, but your key strength will be your ability to bring stakeholders along the journey to embed an improved and centralised Asset Management framework. You will be an engaging leader that utilises the advanced technical capability of your existing team.
What you'll bring to the table:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering with specific training in asset, reliability and productivity management preferred
- An understanding of ISO 55000 and what aspects work best for an operational environment
- Advanced capability to deploy change programs in a consulting fashion for large and complex organisation
- Advanced leadership and engagement skills
- The ability to deal with ambiguity and working in the "grey" is important
- Advanced communication, interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels of the organisation
- Energy or heavy industrial experience
- Diversity of thinking and transformational in delivery
