What we can offerAccess to a range of flexible working conditions.Leadership & technical training & development opportunitiesHealth & Wellbeing programs, including an onsite gym.Subsidised corporate apparel and spectaclesAn opportunity for key involvement with the WA infrastructure project will make a difference in WA for many generations to come!The RoleReporting to the Branch Manager of Asset & Engineering Management (AEM), the Manager Asset Planning & Services is ultimately responsible for the successful delivery of integrated Asset Planning & scheduling to ensure asset maintenance delivery is optimised as per cost, risks, and performance.Three direct superintendent-level reports with a team of inventory, long-term, and short-term planning.Key ResponsibilitiesMake PTA a transport leader through visible and effective leadership.Play a pivotal role in providing leadership and guidance and setting direction for the integrated asset maintenance planning and scheduling activities.Process custodian of Work and Shut Management process under AEM.Implementation of Work/Shut Management.Guide and monitor long-term and short-term maintenance plans and inventory.Working with maintenance managers, superintendents, and operations to ensure the shutdown forecast is aligned and optimised in the required timeframes.Guide the program of works for maintenance planning, inventory & support improvements.Managing and promoting solid relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including critical strategic vendors.Support the management team in informed asset decision-making. To be successful in this role, you will have:Substantial experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, inventory and BudgetingRelevant professional qualifications, engineering degree or project management or substantial experience working in one of the following maintenance disciplines: Electrical, Railway Signalling, and/or Track.Good Knowledge of CMMS software – Ellipse, MS Office, reporting tools etc.Proactive & people leadershipProficient communication skills.There is one permanent, full-time position available for an immediate start. This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy.
