About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as the Manager - Communications and Engagement within the Communications and Engagement Department.

As the Manager – Communications and Engagement you will play a key role in managing the reputation, public relations and projects of NALHN as required.

In this role you will lead and manage the strategy, planning and delivery of all aspects of communications projects as a key enabler for the promotion and branding. The development of a communication strategy will be developed to underpin the effective change, positive reputation management and stakeholder engagement, you will be recognised as a key partner in the design and delivery of strategy.

As the professional and operational lead for the Communications the position will work closely with the Communications Team and provide staff management as required. In this role you will harness the opportunities available through digital media to build the programs reputation, and support stakeholder engagement.

The Manager is responsible for identifying, developing and leading strategic communication strategies which support the program and are consistent with LHN and SA Health Strategic Plan. A key component of the role is providing quality assurance activities for internal and external communications inclusive of public relations, marketing, promotion and community relations programs in partnership with the Media and Communications function for SA Health.

In this role you will manage internal and external communication for the programs such as communiques, publications, corporate presentations, online content (intranet and internet) and the development of other high-level documents.

The Manager – Communications and Engagement also oversees major events such as Ministerial launches and visits on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
