As the Manager Community Services, you’ll be based in Ayr, leading a dedicated team committed to enhancing the community’s wellbeing. You will be part of the senior leadership team and actively contribute to the vibrancy of this thriving region.
Your role includes developing Council’s Community Development Framework, overseeing Library Services, Cultural and other Venues, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. You will actively engage with our community, and manage Council’s community grants program and support community initiatives.
Bring your passion for regional lifestyle and a sound understanding of Community Services in a local government context, along with the ability to develop and monitor budgets, and advanced people management and communication skills. As an enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will hold relevant qualifications (Diploma or Bachelor level in Social Sciences, Humanities, or Arts) and/or have extensive experience in a similar role.
