South West Healthcare (SWH) an exciting opportunity to join the People and Culture team as the Manager Education and Development.
Reporting to the Executive Director People and Culture this role will be the responsible for providing leadership across South West Healthcare (SWH), in establishing and progressing strategic Education and workforce development priorities in collaboration with key stakeholders, and maintaining high standards of delivery that enable the development of a skilled, patient centered workforce.
This role oversees the effective and integrated creation, development and maintenance of services, policies, procedures and resources to support best practice learning and Development, working collaboratively with other education leaders to promote an organisational culture of learning.
What you bring
The successful candidate will be a leader in the corporate or clinical education field and hold an appropriate degree level tertiary qualification, such as in Education, Human Resources, Business Management or a related discipline.
They will be able to demonstrate ability in assessing organisational staff development needs, conceptualising, developing and implementing programs and/or strategies to meet identified needs. In doing this they will be able to incorporate the principles of adult Education and learning theory and practice in the development and delivery of effective learning programs.
The will have highly development management and interpersonal skills to be a team player and lead a multidisciplinary team. They will work within establish work priorities, set realistic goals and timelines, regularly communicate with stakeholders, and deliver quality outcomes within budget. Has analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions whilst being able to competently use the suite of Microsoft applications and other Learning and Development IT systems.
