Position No: BGPA3152961 Salary/Level: Level 6, $110,309 - $121,569 p.a. plus SuperannuationTenure: Permanent, Full-timeLocation: Kings Park and Botanic Garden, Western AustraliaBotanic Gardens and Parks Authority (BGPA) operates within the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) and is a separate statutory authority. BGPA is entrusted with the care, control and management of Bold Park, and Kings Park and Botanic Gardens.The Manager Engagement leads a team with partnership and development, education, volunteering, Aboriginal cultural engagement as its core functions. This team sits within the Visitor & Community Engagement (VCE) Directorate, which, more broadly is responsible for events and activation, park management, communications and visitor and community engagement.This is a diverse role working as part of a nimble and dynamic directorate, within an A-Class reserve and most visited attraction in WA.The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.Application Instructions:To allow the selection panel to make an accurate assessment of your application, please submit the following:A covering letter.A written response addressing the six (6) requested criteria below (in no more than three (3) pages).A current resume.Selection CriteriaConsiderable experience in supervising and developing staff or leading teams in a service delivery environment involving high levels of community engagement.Proven success in developing and maintaining meaningful partnerships with community, funding and / or corporate stakeholders. Experience in planning and implementing stakeholder development and / or fundraising strategies.Knowledge and experience in the provision of discovery, learning, or interpretation of the natural environment.
