The team are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated National Engineering & Projects Manager to join our highly successful and dedicated team in the HVAC/Electrical/Technical Services industries based in Melbourne or Sydney.
About your new role:
The AE Smith team is seeking a dynamic leader to join us as the National Engineering & Projects Manager. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of capital works projects and the delivery of environmentally beneficial solutions for our customers.
Reporting to the Managing Director, some of your primary objectives in this critical role:
- Deploying engineering expertise effectively for assessment, planning, design, and application of value-engineered solutions for capital works projects.
- Overseeing engineering and drafting activities to ensure they meet required standards, deadlines, and budgets, utilizing internal capabilities and established partners.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineering resources, and operational managers to ensure that capital works projects meet required technical and quality standards.
- Ensuring projects are equipped with the most appropriate technical solutions to achieve safety, time, and cost objectives.
- Assisting AE Smith customers in making environmentally beneficial decisions regarding their assets through building optimization, capital replacement programs, and engineering solutions.
