Your New RoleThis is an exciting career opportunity for a Manager to join our Brisbane Audit team. Some of the key duties & responsibilities would include:

• Manage, lead, and develop the Audit team to ensure successful completion and execution of assigned engagements across a range of complexity and scale
• Service line management, including contribution to overall service line strategy and providing feedback and development to junior members of the team
• Identify audit and engagement risks and contribute to the design of an appropriate audit approach for each assignment
• Review working papers, audit queries, correspondence and reports prepared by the team to ensure compliance with audit plan, procedures, and appropriate quality of work
• Lead and participate in technical audit and accounting matters
• Liaise with clients and identify future opportunities

• 7+ years External Audit experience in a professional services firm
• CA/CPA qualification
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Thorough understanding of all financial statement areas
• Ability to identify potential risks of material misstatement and design audit tests to mitigate those risks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in reviewing General Purpose accounts, included listed entities
• Ability to identify scope and solve problems
• Experience and passion in leading and developing teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and an in depth understanding of Audit software
