Our Financial Services Operational Advisory team provides consulting services to publicly listed and private organisations in Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance and Superannuation on projects related to Process Improvement and Optimisation, Commercial Enablement, Operating Model Advisory and Transformation Support.
We assist leading Financial Services companies to identify opportunities to improve their business efficiency and effectiveness, build capability and bring new technology to drive sustainable improvements across their business.

As our portfolio keeps growing, we are looking for data led operations experts and emerging technologies enthusiasts who want to grow in their career, to join the team at Manager level to lead and drive end-to-end process optimisation projects and digital solutions for a prestigious range of Financial Services clients.
Operations Advisory offers opportunities for great learning and development including growing your leadership capability, growing your financial services industry knowledge and expanding your client relationships and networks.
You will collaborate with a wide variety of teams across Management Consulting and the wider firm. Work with confidence knowing your ideas are heard and backed by one of the world's top Professional Services firms.
We currently have a range of exciting, significant opportunities and client initiatives including:
- End-to-end process optimisation projects to advise large scale clients on how to embed automation data analytics as a key pillar of their continuous improvement program
- End-to-end lending originations projects for global financial services organisations
- Product simplification, customer onboarding and customer digitisation projects
- Major projects involving operating model design and business solutions design
- Exploring how technology plays a role in the operating model of the future
- Developing new solutions and new propositions to bring to market including proof of concepts and demos
- Client Insight Centre and Innovation Labs sessions

Ideally, you have experience in:
- Delivering end-to-end process improvement in a financial services leading organisation, Professional Services organisation or Management Consulting firm
- Practical application of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, TPS, Systems Thinking, TQM or MOS
- Data and insights analysis E.g. structuring desk research, shaping interviews and hosting workshops
- Developing and undertaking business requirement analysis and translating business and customer needs into best practice people, process, technology and operation design requirements
- Business improvement planning including process functionality reviews and structured recommendations for improvement
- Applying operating frameworks, models and blueprints (such as customer journey mapping)
- Leading design thinking workshops and build prototypes using Agile methods
- Structuring reports and presentations and facilitating client meetings
- Project management of operational improvement projects, including transformation project management E.g. redesigning operating models, implementing the designs, operations management, delivering work plans and risk registers, managing timelines and resource allocation
- Developing thought leadership and supporting business development including drafting proposals and presentations
- Client-facing Senior Consultant role(s) in Management Consulting with a focus on operational improvement
- Coaching and leadership to Consultants and Senior Consultants (or similar seniority) to develop their capabilities, operating model knowledge and their contribution
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or Master's degree from an accredited college/university, or demonstratable and appropriate work experience.
