About the role:The Manager, Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) System Planning and Priority Projects will hold accountability for System Planning, including financial and operational sustainability, for the AOD system, and will lead a team to coordinate and lead responses to new and emerging issues and risks relating to the AOD system. The role involves developing effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including Health Services and NGO and a range of program and policy areas within the department.About us:At the Victorian Department of Health we want a future where Victorians are the healthiest people in the world. Our successful candidate will provide high quality business intelligence and sound recommendations based on comprehensive research and investigations. Research findings shall be the basis for providing authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and preparing and presenting detailed, comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters.Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate:

• A tertiary qualification in fields related to public policy, health administration or business management is desirable.
