Media Manager
We're seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join a fun and diverse team to plan, develop and coordinate the execution of media and public relations initiatives for the Alcohol and Drug Foundation.
- Part time FTE 0.8, 12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave period
- Starting at FTE$94,243 base plus super (pro-rata for part time) and generous salary packaging options available
- Based in the Melbourne with a hybrid model of working from home and in the office

About the role
The Media Manager plans, develops and coordinates the execution of media and public relations initiatives for the Alcohol and Drug Foundation. The role is also instrumental in establishing success measures - evaluating outcomes against the ADF’s objectives and strategic plan whilst shaping and leveraging relevant key messages and reducing reputational risk.
About you
• Relevant tertiary qualification with circa 5-6 years professional experience in public relations, communications or media
• Demonstrated experience and skills in the planning and delivery of effective media liaison and engagement to enhance brand profile and increase awareness
• Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills for a broad range of audiences and media, including experience presenting to senior level stakeholders
• Ability to draft, edit, pitch and appropriately time press releases, feature stories and media proposals relating to ADF services, drug and alcohol issues, ADF programs and other core ADF activities.
• Strong understanding of cross channel digital marketing principles
• Existing strong networks across channels and media platforms
