The focus of your role:
We're looking for a Manager level Consultant to join Capgemini Invent's Intelligent Industry team in Australia. We are looking for a business analyst or consultant who can bring strategic advisory capabilities across the operations and end-to-end supply chain to our Intelligent Industry team. Experience in heavy manufacturing that incorporates integrated business planning, supply chain planning, scheduling and capacity allocation will be view favourably.
This role will form part of Invent's Intelligent Industry strategic consulting team in Australia. Through this capability Capgemini Invent brings “What's Next” to its clients' future planning, strategy and roadmaps, helping our clients re-envisage their supply chains, their asset operations and enablement of intelligent, connected and dynamic operations that in turn will impact the business models our clients can envisage. As one of the three global capability areas that make up Capgemini Invent's global strategy, Intelligent Industry aims to reinvent the future of industry by bringing together the physical and digital worlds: helping companies to invent intelligent products, operations and services at scale. In Australia our supply chain capabilities are a critical area for growth within this team.
You will bring experience gained working within, or consulting for, industries supply chain and operations within manufacturing or transport and logistics. You will have the ability to make the connection between the business, systems and data lens, knowledge of the role that digital capabilities must play, and where the critical focus areas are. You will be interested in learning how to take a client on a journey to transform their supply chain and you will have experience of supporting business transformations. You will support our supply chain leaders in shaping, selling and delivering digital transformation and innovation programs across our clients' physical operations and digital capabilities, and bringing them the latest leading ideas and inventions. You will support our clients in their innovation and transformation agendas within their supply chain operations, and you will be passionate about the opportunity for sustainability in the transformation of supply chains in Australia.

What you'll do:
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of (digitally enabled) strategies and transformation within supply chain and associated processes for key clients.
  • Understand and support the development of a future view of the digitally transformed supply chain
  • Support technology assessment, business case development, board level advisory and system implementations by bringing your supply chain and operations expertise to those engagements
  • Support new business development opportunities
  • Inspire, and collaborate with your team members
  • Bring Capgemini's and your own expertise to bear with clients.
What you'll bring:
  • Experience, confidence, and maturity in working with client leadership
  • A transformational mindset
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to strategy and execution within complex transformation programs enabled by tech/data, preferably relating to business and technology considerations.
  • Track record of good business relationships and experience of working with senior stakeholders within a client or internally to the organisation.
  • Experience and knowledge of supply chain related applications (SCM, TMS, WMS, control tower) and IT delivery within a supply chain and operations context
  • Experience within the manufacturing (could be discrete manufacturing, heavy manufacturing or food manufacturing), transport and logistics industry or in working with clients as a consultant in those sectors is preferred.
  • Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams in the IT and digital realm
