The role:
We are looking for a responsible Supply and Distribution Manager to join our team on full-time basis. Will oversee procurement, logistics, and Distribution operations, ensuring efficient supply chain management. Responsibilities include sourcing, negotiating contracts, optimizing inventory, coordinating transportation, maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance. This role is pivotal in facilitating the seamless flow of cable management accessories and industrial automation equipment and controls, enhancing the company's reputation for reliability and excellence.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
Role: Full Time
Duties & Responsibilities as a Supply and Distribution Manager include:
· Oversee sourcing and purchasing activities for industrial automation equipment and controls.
· Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
· Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs while meeting customer demand.
· Coordinate transportation and Distribution processes to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
· Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality of supply.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance and take corrective actions as needed.
· Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to ensure business continuity.
· Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing procurement and Distribution activities.
· Utilize historical data and market trends to forecast demand for industrial automation equipment and controls.
· Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
· Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost reduction initiatives within the supply chain.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across supply chain processes.
· Ensure the quality and reliability of supplied products through rigorous quality assurance processes.
· Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Requirements, Skills, and Qualifications:
• 8-10 years of experience as a Supply and Distribution Manager or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree minimum.
• Expertise in supply chain principles, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and Distribution.
• Proficient in data analysis and interpreting KPIs for driving improvement.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and suppliers.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Dedication to meeting customer needs and ensuring timely delivery for satisfaction.
