- Accountable for ensuring that IPNE projects and programs are managed within agreed timeframes and budgets and that issues are identified and shared in a timely manager. The portfolio consists of approximately 20 projects.
- Responsible for setting and optimising the processes used within the team and aligning these with the processes used by other groups within Networks.
- Identify and implement automation and process optimisations to reduce project duration and cost of managing the projects
- Provide leadership, direction, enablement of knowledge and skill development of people within the team.
- Creation and management and oversight of work package contracts with suppliers for the delivery of additional project management capability.
- Ensuring that regular, timely and accurate project reporting is provided to senior management and stakeholders .
- Consolidation of planned IPNE PTW for presentation to the Senior Leadership team.

- Atleast 3 years experience as a project manager in a telecoms/transport network environment
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. bachelor degree or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in telecommunications or related, relevant environment
- Experiencing in managing people and teams to deliver lasting and positive outcomes.
- Superior professional, communication and technical skills, and the ability to work in a sophisticated matrix.
- Understanding of processes for project and program management
