We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Service Management Manager to join our IT group in Sydney on a 12 month contract.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Own, develop and evolve all Service Management capabilities as needed including but not limited to core ITIL functions, e.g. Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management
- Coordinate the activities of the Service Management team to resolve Incidents, focus effort, identify, and prioritise needs
- Establish and maintain a service-oriented culture for all operational support and project responsibilities
- Own, develop, improve and champion ITIL / ITSM processes across the IT organisation and business stakeholders
- Facilitate and where required chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings
- Facilitate the diagnoses of service delivery issues, including Post Incident Reviews, root cause analysis, capability restrains and co-ordinate actions to resolve and/or improve
- Undertake tool administrative duties including workflow updates, recommendations, Service Catalogue and CMDB implementation and maintenance
- Develop IT Service Reports, scheduling and operation, including associated work with other teams reporting responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Suitable tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- Strong team management experience (3+ years), preferably across Global teams.
- Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience in Service Management, including Incident, Problem, Request Fulfillment, Change Request, Service Levels, SACM, ITSCM
- Experience of running a successful Service Transition Team
- Experience chairing Change Advisory Board meetings, Workshops, facilitating discussions and assisting business stakeholders to anticipate future needs and opportunities
- Demonstrated experience in planning for, and supporting the implementation of a Change management project or program,
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, analysing, engaging, and influencing a spectrum of stakeholders
- Candidate must be able to demonstrate proven ability to deliver outstanding service in a high-pressure environment
- Experience of working in a law firm or a professional services environment (e.g. consulting or accounting) would be a distinct advantage, although not essential.
- ITIL / ITSM Certification (desired)
