About the Role
Reporting to the General Manger People Services this is a pivotal role within the team for leading technical and organisational compliance training by driving delivery and oversight of the governance framework of our core training curriculum, including mandatory and technical training requirements for both employees and contractors.
- Lead a delivery team of three.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, maintain, govern and continuously improve Melbourne Water’s technical and mandatory safety, compliance and vocational education strategy, frameworks and programs for employees and contractors
- Develop and manage annual training plan in line with operational requirements and safe work practices, continually looking to improve and enhancing delivery commerciality, methodology, processes and learning experiences
- Champion best practice for technical and organisational training across the industry
About you:
- Strong leadership capability to inspire and develop your team.
- Exceptional engagement and influencing skills to work collaborative with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Significant experience and the understanding and delivery of Operational and Technical Training frameworks.
- Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to manage and deliver within budgets.
