Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.A bit about your roleReporting to the Executive Manager, Media and External Communications (Corporate & Business), The Manager Media and Communications role is multifaceted, with a focus on developing, implementing and effectively managing and guiding the company's media relations and External Communications strategies and collateral.This role is critical in protecting and enhancing nbn’s reputation, leveraging Media and commentator relationships to influence and inform key stakeholders, driving customer retention and acquisition, managing issues and supporting the organisation’s priorities.A bit about youIf this sounds like the role for you then, it is likely you will have significant experience in working in media relations, journalism or External Communications. Ideally, you’ll be well versed in developing national Public Relations campaigns with regional implementation plans. You’ll possess a deep understanding of regulatory and public policy issues with proven ability to develop appropriate corporate communications strategies and tactics that support the company’s strategic objectives.You have exceptional proactive media relations expertise with the ability to develop stories with journalists from idea to placement of coverage. You are experienced in developing content across stakeholder, employee, owned, earned and paid channels.You are an exceptional communicator with stakeholders at all levels, with the natural ability to communicate and influence with impact, conveying detailed concepts and information clearly and effectively.
