About the Role

The purpose of the role is to provide specialist advice and support for all contemporary medical workforce matters including recruitment and selection, mandatory pre-employment and terms and conditions of employment, credentialing and scope of clinical practice, and strategic workforce planning.

  • Provide timely expert strategic advice and support to medical executive services, medical directors, and other relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee quality improvement activities to ensure continuous improvement, implementation of best-practice and strategic workforce planning.
  • Ensure service compliance with relevant legislation, awards, certified agreements, policies, and procedures and facilitate audit and improvement processes as required.
  • Build relationships and external networks to ensure areas are aware of changes to the employment of medical staff, evaluate and impact assess these changes, develop, implement, and educate others on new processes to ensure compliance with new changes.
