The opportunity

Support Group Investment (GI) & Group Treasury (GT) to ensure internal and external obligations are appropriately identified, monitored and controls are put in place.

Your new role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Manager, Obligations, Investment & Treasury.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that Group Investments and Group Treasury meet their internal and external obligations for both Statutory and Regulatory requirements. You will play a crucial role in supporting GI and GT in executing risk and regulatory Obligations Management responsibilities, ensuring all obligations are appropriately identified, mapped, controlled, monitored, and reported with proper governance and oversight.

  • Map and manage GT and GI obligations globally, ensuring compliance with Statutory and Regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and implement controls, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.

  • Monitor and drive compliance across Statutory/Regulatory obligations, ensuring business adherence.

  • Take ownership and lead the implementation of changes in obligation-related matters.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external audit teams.

  • Lead the management of compliance obligations, including the development and implementation of new processes and controls.

Your story so far

You will have prior experience in audit, governance or compliance and must be able to apply this knowledge to ensure and contribute to the success of our GI and GT functions. You will be highly proactive, influential and have the ability to build strong relationships and a foundation of trust on a global scale.

You will also have:

  • Understanding of Investments or Asset Managements (desirable

  • Strong influencing skills

  • Strong relationship management skills

  • Appropriate report generation skills including in Excel and Word
