Our Optimise Partner Taxes team is seeking a self-motivated Manager wishing to apply their knowledge and expertise to a range of challenging tax and accounting matters.
What will you create?
You will be responsible for working directly with a client portfolio of PwC partners, assisting them with the preparation and lodgement of their annual tax compliance obligations as well as providing taxation advice relevant to their own personal and family circumstances.
As a Manager in our Optimise team your impact will be seen by:
● Providing your portfolio of partners with confidence that their accounting and taxation compliance obligations will be met with precision and expertise;
● Assisting partners to understand their personal cash-flows and the timing and amount of taxes payable;
● Helping the partners understand their personal financial structure and identifying risks or opportunities for them to consider;
● Maintaining multiple stakeholder relationships across a portfolio of partners;
● Working collaboratively within the Partner tax team and across PwC to deliver solutions to partners;
● Coaching others, recognising their strengths and encouraging them to take ownership of their personal development;
● Managing multiple tasks with competing priorities;
● Simplifying complex messages and communicating them to partners who may not be tax people;
● Showing a keen interest in technology and an understanding of the benefits of automation;
● Assisting with business development activities to expand our services to other professional partnerships.
About you
You are appropriately qualified and are skilled in providing Australian taxation and accounting compliance, and tax advice for individuals, trusts, and private companies.
You’re collaborative and enjoy working in a fast paced and innovative environment which maximises the use of digital and automation tools.
