Job Summary
Reporting to the Network Control Manager, the Planning/Scheduling Manager oversees the Operations and Construction Planning functions, ensuring that all deliverables meet business requirements and key performance indicators while maintaining operational efficiency. The Planning function is responsible for maintaining adherence to maintenance plans and work schedules, raising notifications (scheduled, corrective, and reactive), dispatching jobs, and administering project packs and customer enquiries.

About the role
- Provide operational oversight to the various planning work streams to ensure team goals and objectives align with operational requirements.
- Analyse team performance metrics and KPIs to ensure operational goals are met, assess progress, and implement improvement initiatives and corrective actions.
- Develop and update monthly KPI and job completion reports, covering workforce vs. workload status and notification schedules to inform financial status and resource requirements.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to current workflow, processes and procedures, policies, regulations, and legislations, and implement continuous improvement opportunities for processes and work procedures.
- Manage relationships with internal and external (3rd party contractors/vendors/suppliers) stakeholders,
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data integrity issues to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Review IT root cause reports, identify and mitigate risks, and collaborate to plan remediation and workarounds.
- Support the implementation of IT solutions, ensuring that they are aligned with functional requirements to achieve workflow delivery, regulatory compliance, KPIs and business objectives.
What we are looking for

- Diploma of Business and/or Diploma in Leadership & Management or equivalent in the relevant area
- Experience in planning, scheduling, and dispatching tasks or resources.
- Experience in managing a team is preferred.
- Proficient in various computer applications, such as MS Office (especially Excel), SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and LANTIS Geographic Information System (GIS) map.
- Familiarity with BYDA Auto Collation, SmarterWX, Operator Console, Field Mobility (mDrover), and NMIS optional.
