NDIS PLAN MANAGER (or BOOKKEEPER WITH NDIS EXPERIENCE)
This role is a permanent, part-time position based in our Ellenbrook clinic. The position for 25 hours a week, with a flexible work arrangement, to be discussed with the successful applicant.
The successful applicant will be:
- Providing financial planning and management advice to clients.
- Processing of invoices from providers on behalf of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants.
- Allocating correct NDIS codes to ensure the right budget categories are used.
- Monitoring individual budgets.
- Processing payments in a timely manner.
- Ensuring prices on invoices align with the NDIS PriceGuide.
- Continuously striving to achieve industry compliance and best practice.
- Ensuring all data and information is current and NDIS Plans are reviewed regularly.
- Maintaining current knowledge of NDIS Quality and Safeguards.
- Providing monthly update reports to management.
- Admin, reception, or accounts duties as required.
Skills & Experience Essential
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent/higher.
- Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years working full-time in a relevant environment.
- Registration with bookkeeper or accounting professional body.
- Previous NDIS Plan Management experience or experience working with the NDIS and people with a disability, their families, providers, and carers.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret invoices& troubleshoot errors.
- Understanding of or able to quickly obtain knowledge of the NDIS funding breakdown & pricing guide.
- Allocation of the correct categories for providers.
- Identify errors on invoices from other providers.
- An empathetic approach.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality outcomes through relationship management and high-volume client/customer interactions.
- Proven experience handling multiple activities and priorities simultaneously with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Ability to establish clear work schedules and priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and a positive attitude.
