Greater consideration will be given to suitable applicants, in order to improve access to employment and career opportunities (GSE Rule 26).What you’ll be doingIn this role you will be required to lead the Registries, Data Collection and Data Engineering teams, programs of work and budgets to ensure achievement of agreed service delivery levels, and drive staff engagement. Priorities will include ensuring that relevant program development and delivery complies with the NSW Cancer Plan objectives, reflects optimal stakeholder engagement and best practice. In addition you will lead the development, implementation, management, reporting and evaluation of all activities within the program.You will have demonstrated experience in working with complex technology programs in the health environment. Essential requirements

• Experience in planning, software development, management and use of information technology and Data Engineering in the health industry to support system performance, reporting and research;
• Experience in the management and strategic planning of health registries and demonstrated knowledge of registry best practice allowing for the future development of sustainable registries and Data Collection.
• Tertiary qualifications in health information management, related discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience and training.

• Provide an example when you have led a technology program/project where you have had to provide both strategic leadership and operational direction.
