About the opportunity:
Bring your extensive experience in research management to the role of Manager, Research Grants. This is an opportunity to demonstrate and grow the breadth and depth of your expertise and support UC’s researchers and partners to deliver impact.
Embracing a team-oriented approach, you'll have the opportunity to introduce innovative ideas and methodologies while fostering the growth and development of the team. The role offers the opportunity to lead and mentor team members whilst supporting researchers through the grant application process and facilitating the successful execution of funded projects.
As the Manager of Research Grants, you will be managing the entire lifecycle of funded research, encompassing:
- pre-award,
- contract negotiations,
- post-award management, and
- ensuring adherence to compliance reporting requirements.
Collaborating closely with colleagues in both the Research Services and the Enterprise Development and Partnerships teams, you'll ensure the consistent delivery of professional support and expertise across all funded research categories within the University.
