About the role
- The role is responsible for providing leadership, management and strategic direction to the Revenue Control, Debt Recovery and Private Practice administration teams, in a manner that drives efficiency, adds value to the organisation and fosters a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
- The role will provide expert advice in accordance with legislative and policy frameworks to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of revenue financial governance and to drive and implement Own Source operations that will optimise collections for Metro North Health Service (MNH).
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated knowledge of private patient regulatory requirements, understanding of Medicare requirements, patient billing activities, referral processes and experience in managing revenue strategy related projects within a hospital environment.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal competence, including the capacity to negotiate, resolve conflict and positively influence and motivate others, and drive innovation.
- Understanding of and high level ability to develop and manage an effective and motivated team which supports delivery of efficient and effective health services.
